We're a Chamber of leaders—and leaders in training. We bring business leaders, top institutions, other business organizations, and a diverse group of elected leaders together to work toward a better Northern Virginia.
We bring the business
community together to
solve regional issues
The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce is not only the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Region's largest Chamber, but we're also the most influential. Through our weekly events, targeted networking groups, and full-time government advocacy, the Chamber offers members, no matter their size, a wealth of connection opportunities, access to government officials, and business support designed to help them promote and grow their unique businesses.
About the Chamber
"The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce serves as a direct channel for leadership in Fairfax County Public Schools to interact with regional business leaders. The interactions are vital to ensuring the economic growth of our community. We enjoy the collaborative relationships we have with the business community on initiatives such as workforce development, facilities construction, transportation, and the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community. By working together, we’re preparing the future workforce, FCPS students, for the future.

Ours is a story 97 years in the making
Originally founded in 1925, as a Fairfax county-focused business advocacy organization, the Northern Virginia Chamber has grown into region's largest Chamber of Commerce, drawing members and impacting policy across the Greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan Region.
Today, representing close to 500,000 employees, the diversity of our community is one of our greatest assets, offering opportunities to learn from one another and form personal connections that help guide lasting business growth.
The Chamber’s goal is to be considered not only a business partner but also an agent of change for our members. We do this through our work in government advocacy, education through events and programs, networking, promotion of member businesses, and recognition through awards.
We are proud to have worked together over these many years to build a meaningful association that enriches our community and look forward to continuing that good work.
